Owning a flower stand is a delicate dance of timing, intuition, and weather-watching. Once the flowers are cut, the countdown begins — each bloom a fleeting moment of beauty. While we’ve learned tricks to keep bouquets fresher longer, like chilling cosmos overnight or cutting sunflowers just before they open, fresh flowers are, by nature, temporary. That’s part of their magic. And when a few bouquets linger after a weekend sale, we see it as an opportunity — to give back, to connect, and to spread a little unexpected joy to those around us.
